After the April 16-24 widespread avalanching of sun affected slopes, the snowpack at the Lower elevation is ablating rapidly.
There is 18 hours of sunlight gaining a further five minutes each day. Snowpack stability changes rapidly from GOOD with frozen snow to POOR with melted snow. Monitor changing conditions and use extra caution.
